Permaculture Design Certificate Course
Course Outline The course covers the background knowledge, design skills and practical techniques of the Permaculture Institute's 72-hour Permaculture Design Certificate Course. Successful completion of the PDC allows students to offer professional permaculture design services to the public. Ongoing work can lead to Diploma level accreditation.
Run over a full year, one night per week during school terms, the course allows participants plenty of time to absorb the concepts, develop designs, and relate the ideas to the real world. Several trips to develop on-site design skills, to practise techniques, and to view design implementation in progress. A highlight of the year is a weekend away exploring permaculture in practice.
